I think you should be fine. My understanding is that USCIS would look at your pay stubs to determine if you have a gap. As you will have continuous pay stubs before and after the HI transfer, you should fine...

- I have an H1B visa stamped on my passport from my previous employer "A"...The H1B stamped on my Indian passport is valid till Oct'2009.
- I made a transfer from EMPLOYER "A" to EMPLOYER "B" in June 2007.

Yes, i used AP before and after that I got my H1B extended with the same employer. I want to get visa stamped as I am still single and need to retain H1B status.
Based on other's experiences and attorney's suggestions, it seems like one can enter on AP if there are delays in visa issuance, however, i was always cautioned that there might be problems at POE but I have not come across such case (atleast thru forums). Also, I do not think there will be any problems using old or new petition at the consulate for visa stamping as long as its not-expired (obviously).

I filed my I-485 on Aug 13, 2007 (Received date) under EB3 ROW (> 180 days). My I-140 was filed for job "Systems Analyst". I am now being offered a job as "Director of Development" managing the development process along with 30-40 people for another company. I know this theme has been discussed and has risks but would it be OK to take the job. I have approved EAD and AP due to expire on Nov 21 (will renew tomorrow just in case GC does not get approved by then). Has anyone been in this position? I have valid H1-B visa and have not used EAD or AP.
Any advice highly appreciated. thanks!

Let us assume that we have totally 70,000 Nurses pending now.
a. PD <= 2006 is 10000
b. PD > 2006 is 60000
This would not help much of ppl waiting in EB3 with PD earlier than Nov 2006 bcoz it takes only 10,000 of their queue. But it really helps the ppl with PD > 2006.
Also it depends on whether 7% country limit is applicable. It would help RoW better than retrogressed countries.
In either case, it is a win-win situation for EB3 India 61,000 * .07 = 4270. Still it is worth of about 1 yr worth of EB3 visas for retrogressed countries.
Any thoughts or corrections?

you have mentioned that you were traveling from India to USA. So the staff took the i-94 which you NEWLY got after you landed in USA . If that is the case then it is a problem. Consult a lawyer. It is not stolen or lost.It may go to USCIS that you are going out of country.

Your travel agent should know if he/she is experienced about transit visa. Amsterdam does not need a transit visa (even with an invalid US visa). Not sure about Frankfurt.
You will need one for sure if you travel via UK. I had some friends who had to go through a lot of difficulty for going back on a B1 visa to India via Heathrow

If you have a lawyer please ask them, because in my case only the lawyer got the receipt notice.
Now here is what happened to me: filed on July 2nd in Nebraska, receipt notice came from California on Sept 5th, then they forwarded it back to Nebraska and I go the notice of action in the mail (this time I did get it and my lawyer did not), but now my receipt date is Sept. 5th instead of July 2nd.....so don't be surprised if they pull the same thing on you!!!

You don't need a visa to transit in Frankfurt - meaning if you are catching another flight to a non-Schengen state (like India). Else, all "interview", visa stamping (even for other Schengen states), etc. happens in Frankfurt.

DMV people just look at the expiry date.
As pending 485 do not have expiry date they won't accept it as status.

My company filed my (non-PERM) LC before I joined the company. I was on H1B with another organization. My LC was approved immediately after I joined the company.
I don't know if there is a point at which the person should join the company that has already started processing his/her GC. I know that you can get GC before joining the company processing your GC; for example, if person is not in the country.
